- William Weeden, the outgoing director of the Community Oversight Board, says that he had not not been given enough autonomy in his role, and believed that the board had mishandled its feedback for him in wanting him to adjust his approach to the job. Weeden had previously cited the stress of the job as the reason for resigning earlier this month.
- The Metro Board of Ethical Conduct has dismissed a complaint against a Community Oversight Board member after an officer accused Brenda Ross of interfering with a police response. The incident was another flashpoint between the police and the COB.

- The Nashville Predators (10-9-3) extended their losing streak to six games Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks (12-8-4) 6-3 at home before snapping it by knocking off the St. Louis Blues (14-5-5) 4-2 Saturday night on the road. The team hosts the Blues tonight and the Vegas Golden Knights (11-10-4) on Wednesday.
