Sorta Recession-y: Nashville Originals Restaurant Week Is Back

Nashville Originals’ Restaurant Week is back for its second run, after a successful launch last September. Modeled after longstanding Restaurant Weeks in New York, DC and other cities, participating Originals will be offering prix fixe three-course meals at $20.09 or $30.09 a pop. Our only complaint about Restaurant Week is that it’s too short – How are we supposed to try 29 of Nashville’s best restaurants in just one week?

Reservations are encouraged, and most of the restaurants have a set menu for Restaurant Week diners. However, at both Germantown Cafe and Allium, diners will be allowed the freedom to create their own three courses from any salad, entree and dessert on the menu. Pay close attention, because prices and menus vary greatly from place to place. Some even include a meal for two and/or alcohol! Read on for the rest of the details.
