- More than a million Tennesseans have voted early, with 122,000 of them coming from Nashville/Davidson County. Today is the final day to vote early, with Election Day next Tuesday, November 6.

- The Nashville Predators (9-3-0) defeated the Vegas Gold Knights (5-6-1) 4-1 Tuesday night at home in a game where forward Ryan Hartman had two goals and defenseman P.K. Subban got the better of his brother Malcom who was in goal for the Golden Knights. The Predators head to Tampa Bay to face the Lightning (8-2-1) tonight before returning home to host the Boston Bruins (7-3-2) Saturday.
- Good news came for the Preds as goaltender Pekka Rinne was re-activated off the injured reserve list Wednesday. He had been out for several games with an undisclosed injury.
