- Records indicate that Nashville Mayor Megan Barry and the head of her security detail remained for several days after completing city business on the trips they took together. Multiple agencies are expected to audit the records, including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

- The Nashville Predators (31-12-7) defeated the Los Angeles Kings (28-19-5) Thursday night with an impressive 0-5 shutout before defeating the New York Rangers (25-22-5) Saturday 2-4. The Preds open a four-game road trip against the New York Islanders (26-22-5) tonight before heading to Toronto to face the Leafs (30-19-5) Wednesday night.
- Predators forward Filip Forsberg has been suspended for three games (so he’ll miss most of that trip) after a hit on New York Rangers player Jimmy Vesey (who was drafted by the Preds before using a loophole to sign with the Rangers). It is the first time Forsberg has been suspended, and can’t-be-fined-because-he’s-not-under-contract-yet Mike Fisher isn’t happy.
- The Gerst Haus in East Nashville will be closing its doors after more than 60 years this weekend. The business had suffered a minor fire last month.
