• The white supremacist rally in Shelbyville and Murfreesboro this weekend ended up being sparsely attended by actual supporters, with participants vastly outnumbered by media and counter-protestors. Those that did go opted to form a “human swastika” in a nearby state park, in case there was any lingering ambiguity about their fandom of the Nazis.
• There was a separate violent incident in a Brentwood restaurant that witnesses say was likely racially motivated. Video shows a woman with a bloody face following the the alteration.
• SoBro? WeHo? City Heights? If none of this makes sense to you, you’re clearly not alone. Realtors and developers have “re-branded” neighborhoods for decades.
• Nashville may be at risk of a housing price slump, one analyst projects.
• The House of Blues, owned by Live Nation, is looking to open an 18-story hotel behind Acme Feed & Seed near Broadway.
• They mayor’s office is shrugging off criticism that their nearly two-mile long tunnel under downtown is impractical, saying that it is an integral part of the light rail plan. The project is expected to cost nearly a million dollars.
• Shake Shack, a popular burger and milkshake fast-casual restaurant, is rumored to be in discussions to open a location at the Fifth + Broadway development at the former site of the Nashville Convention Center.
• WPLN has a story about the two women that made the Country Music Hall of Fame possible.
• Vanderbilt football’s (3-5) losing streak extended to five games with a 27-34 loss against the University of South Carolina (6-2). They host Western Kentucky (5-3) next Saturday.  They can only afford to lose one more game and remain bowl eligible.
• The Nashville Predators (5-4-2) beat the Chicago Blackhawks (5-5-2) 2-1 on Friday before dropping a 6-2 game at home on Saturday against the New York Islanders (6-4-1). They begin their California road trip against the San Jose Sharks (5-5) on Wednesday.
• And finally, for the second year in a row runners in T-Rex suits took to the streets for no particular reason.
