- The Tennessee Titans saw their season end in a 14-35 loss to the New England Patriots on Saturday. The Patriots will go on to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship game.

- The Cloud Hill Partnership suddenly pulled out of the proposed Greer redevelopment plan Friday after an archeological study indicated a high chance that graves exist beneath the areas developers wanted to use. The study’s authors recommend returning the property to parkland.
- A Nashville Fire Department ladder truck ended up on its side during a call in the Antioch neighborhood Saturday. No one was injured, but It required a crane to right the vehicle.
- The Bellevue Sam’s Club will be closing as part of Walmart’s plan to shutter 63 of the member warehouses nationwide. The store in Antioch will remain open.
- One Nashville-area man was vacationing in Hawaii when that errant ballistic missile alert went out. The issue has been traced back to a poorly designed interface.
- Tennessee is among the states that have joined a coalition to promote civil rights tourism across the country. Nashville was the site of several sit-in demonstrations.
- Maplewood High School has partnered with the Nashville Electric Service to open an “electrician lab” behind the school. Students will learn the basics of electrical engineering and leave school with a high demand skill.
