• In cute baby animal news, the Nashville Zoo welcomed the birth of four red ruffed lemurs on Tuesday.
• LaVergne lost a Whirlpool manufacturing facility in the recession of 2008, but has gained the Chinese-based Sinomax matress factory with its recent opening in the city.
• An industry publication has named Nashville Public Library its Library of the Year and called it a “champion of diversity and inclusiveness and a literacy gladiator.” Pretty cool!
