We’re sad to see it go, but the last Live on the Green of the year is going to be a doozy. An early Halloween party of sorts, this Thursday’s Live on the Green promises costume contests and other spooky festivities, and is headlined by an act we’ve been looking forward to ever since they announced the lineup – Here Come The Mummies. If you’ve ever wanted to see a bunch of anonymous professional musicians dressed up like mummies and getting their funk on, here’s your chance. It’s bound to be a scream (Get it? Get it?!).
Last Live on the Green of 2011! Thursday, October 14 in Public Square Park, 6pm, free. Featuring RhythMystik Tribal Percussion, Eastern Block, H-Beam and Here Come The Mummies.
