Lightning 100 Announces New Outdoor Concert Series

A throwback to the days of Uptown Mix (who remembers that?), Lightning 100 has a brand new free outdoor concert series up their sleeves, and the first official details were announced today. Live On The Green will launch this September, and wil take place every Thursday evening from September 3 – October 8 in the Public Square Plaza over by the Nashville Courthouse. The currently confirmed artists include Citizen Cope, Here Come the Mummies, Space Capone and Ricky Young, but Lightning 100 promises us that Live On The Green will feature some “national touring acts with roots in the Music City” too, so we’ll be keeping our eyes out for more big announcements.

This is great news for downtown, and also for the woefully underutilized public square..

Awesome! Hopefully they won't let some corporate entity ruin it like Mad Booking did with Dancing in the District..
