When The Circus Comes To Stay, The Elephants Go Out And Play

Our friends on Facebook and Twitter have been buzzing about some sort of commotion downtown involving an elephant. And they weren’t kidding. An elephant has been roaming around downtown (with a handler, of course) and that can only mean one thing – the Al Menah Shriners are back with this year’s Shrine Circus! There are several showtimes between now and Sunday and tickets are only $10-15. If you happen to catch the elephant’s trek through town, or see little tiny clown cars cluttering the streets, be sure to send us your pictures. Because we think that seeing an elephant strolling down Broadway (and watching tourists’ reactions) is far more entertaining than sitting through the circus.
