- A 12-year old North Nashville boy survived an accidental shooting by his cousin when they found the father’s gun in the boy’s home. The bullet just barely missed his heart, and he’s expected to make a full recovery. [WKRN]
- Titans wide receiver Brandon Jones was caught toting a .32-calliber handgun around in his bags at the Nashville Airport this morning, allegedly left over from target practice. We’re not sure how you accidentally bring a gun to the airport in a day where most of us aren’t even bringing liquids, though. [City Paper]
