Movies In The Park 2010 Kicks Off June 2 With “Where The Wild Things Are”

It’s summer! Movies in the Park (Centennial Park, to be specific) kick off this year on June 2, which is in less than two weeks for anyone keeping track. These five weeks of (mostly) family-friendly films on the big screen in Centennial Park are a summer tradition we look forward to every year. Movies begin at sunset every Wednesday in June.

June 2: Where The Wild Things Are (rained out)
June 9: The Sandlot
June 16: Legally Blonde
June 23: The Blind Side
June 30: Wizard of Oz
July 7: Where The Wild Things Are (rescheduled from June 2)

Hi I just ran into da blag after searching for the google and I have to say why do you recommend the “Where The Wild Things Are”? Only hipsters with tight pants see that movie and I don,t want to either. Sometimes I want to punch the people with the fedoras who only see the movies with the monsters. Like woah. I think it shows YOU’re biases. Please serve the community and play a movie more approachable to all the people such as Lord of The Flies from 1990,s starring Balthazar Getty. I think da blag is go except for this. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
