Next Big Weekend: Americana Music Festival

September 18th, 2008 · Comments

Next Big Nashville not really your thing? That’s okay, because Nashville always has something for everyone. In this case, it’s back to back weeks of incredible music festivals. While the Americana Music Festival is much smaller in scale than Next Big Nashville, it showcases some of the best talents in the nation, and includes a solid schedule of music industry events and educational conference sessions. We’re still wiped out from our rendezvous with 2am (times 4 days) last week, but a bunch of the showcases have piqued our interest. With performances scheduled by artists from Buddy Miller to Ben Kweller (and everyone in between), there really is a show for everyone. Wristbands for all four nights (whoops, only three left) are only $35 and can be purchased at Grimey’sCountry Music Hall of Fame, or The Groove.
