So remember when we told you that Oktoberfest was becoming the Germantown Street Festival? The Tennessean steered us wrong. There are actually two festivals in Germantown on the same day at the same time–the street festival AND Oktoberfest. Props to them for the round-about retraction [Tennessean]
The student who was shot at Central High School this morning in Knoxville died several hours later at UT Medical Center. The motivation for the shooting is still unclear, though the students were reportedly arguing just before it happened. [WKRN]
Local musician Will Hoge is in critical condition after crashing his scooter into a van that failed to yield late last night. He’s expected to recover, and we’re hoping he’ll be all healed up and ready to go for his September 20th performance at Mercy Lounge. Get well soon, Will! [Tennessean]

unrelated to the post, but related to the post image, jess's butt probably went flat b/c she stopped basing workouts around squats and lunges...which give the BEST firm curves a woman can hope for.
