Fang Fingers: Preds Draft Party Tonight!

It seems like we haven’t heard much good news from the Preds lately between losing Hordichuk, Boots’ legendary five lawsuits and almost defaulting on the Sommet Center’s lease. But the guys are ready to bounce back tonight with the annual Draft Party to kick off the first round of the draft from Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. Starting at 5pm, they’ll be rolling out the inflatable games, offering great food & drink specials, and throwing the broadcast up on the megatron for everyone to see. And the best part? It’s free. Sommet Center doors open at 5, draft starts at 6, and JP Dumont will be on the concourse signing autographs from 6-7.

  • Actually, I think losing Hordichuk probably is good news. He's a great personality for the team and seems like a really nice guy, but we need more skill at forward. Enforcers are important, but since we already have Toots.....the Hordy trade isn't a surprise.

Thanks for the great Preds coverage, by the way!
  • I kinda want to go to this.
  • I'm going tonight for sure.
And Christy's right - the Hordichuck trade was a good thing... as was the Mason trade this morning and signing Dan Ellis.

Big day in "Pred Nation" (as Paul McCann calls us).
