- A pop-up Pokémon-themed burger restaurant called PokéBar is coming to Nashville for two days in April 2020, where you can pay $45 for exclusive stuff (along with the burger and a drink). - A new apartment complex made out of shipping containers in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood has caught on to the “tiny house” trend. The complex has a planned opening in 2020.

- The Nashville Zoo announced Thursday that it will be home to the country’s largest Chinese lantern festival, with more than 500 custom pieces spanning the 60-acre property. The exhibit will run November through February.
- The Frist Museum is hosting a collection of muralists that capture the essence of a growing, diverse city.
- The new Saint Thomas psychiatric hospital will lose its tax-exempt status for its 76-bed facility because of its partnership with a for-profit health insurer, but administrators say patient care will not be affected.
- Residents of a South Nashville apartment complex are demanding health screenings and reimbursed rent after a sewage backup that spilled into the hallways was allegedly ignored for several days. The management company has not commented on the complaint.
- Nashville police say a group of women may be behind a recent crime wave in the downtown precinct, where the thieves have stolen wallets, watches, and cell phones.
- A professional boxing match next Saturday will open the new exhibition hall at Fairgrounds Nashville against a backdrop of lawsuits about the future of the property as it relates to the planned MLS Stadium set to begin construction near the site.
- Bare Naked Bagels in Hillsboro Village has closed after about one year in business as a brick-and-mortar store. The food truck version started in 2014.
- The Tennessee Titans (1-1) lost 22-17 to the visiting New England Patriots (2-0) Saturday night, but it’s still early in the preseason so these games don’t count. The Titans will host the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) at 7 p.m. next Sunday. ?
