- The Nashville Predators found out who their playoff opponent will be in the first round over the weekend. Spoiler: it’s Chicago.
- Three words: PARADE OF PUGS.
- Watkins College of Art & Design has added some, uh, rather unique buildings to their Metro Center campus.
- Three officers were airlifted to the hospital after a riot broke out at a prison in Hickman County.
- Just months after wildfires nearly reached Dollywood’s front door, a small brush fire broke out near one of the rides. Thankfully fire crews were able to put it out before it did any real damage.
- Getting a beer and hot dog at Nissan Stadium may be easier next season after the Titans fired their concessions vendor for long lines and inefficiencies. Here’s hoping!
- We’re going to go ahead and add “HippoMcHippoFace” to the pending online voting for the newest resident of the Nashville Zoo.
- Speaking of the zoo, they debuted their spider monkey exhibit late last week as well. (No, the monkeys do not have eight legs.)
- Headline of the weekend: “Rep. Steve Cohen says Trump’s marijuana policy is hazy.“
- General Sessions Judge Casey Moreland has resigned following his arrest on numerous charges. We swear that CMT’s Nashville has not loaned the city a scandalous plot line.
- Snakes on planes, bats in salads… Blech!
