• The State of Tennessee is planning for the worst by coming up with a plan for handling a 15 to 30% cut in federal funding, which is a thing that could happen! [WKRN]
• In other important news, Nicole Kidman has decided to change the name of Hillsboro High School to Middle Bend High School, at least for a couple of days. They’ll be out there shooting her new movie soon, and we can only hope those awesome green donkey signs make it into a few scenes. [Tennessean]
• There’s a good chance Davidson County could be split up among three congressional districts during the next redistricting. [Tennessean]
• Nashville food trucks and the Metro Council are still working to lay out some ground rules for mobile vendors. [City Paper]

• Nearly 1 in 6 Tennesseans relies on food stamps. [WTVF]
• The Tennessee Highway Patrol and National Guard are doing that thing where they hunt for marijuana farms from the sky. [WKRN]
• Remember our neighbors in Perry County with their 30% unemployment rate back in 2009? Governor Bill announced that a Michigan-based automobile parts facility will be moving into town next year, creating as many as 400 jobs. [WTVF]
