• Nashville SC (2-0-4) snagged a 1-0 win over Austin FC (2-4-0) for its second win of the season to remain undefeated and inch closer to the top of the table.
• It took the Nashville Predators a double overtime Friday night to beat the Hurricanes 5-4 and another double overtime Sunday afternoon to win 4-3. The best of seven series is now tied at two games each, heading back to Raleigh for Game 5 tomorrow night.

• The Metro Council honored Bolton Matthews of Bolton’s Spicy Chicken and Fish yesterday for his contributions to the culture, economy, and cuisine of Nashville.

• The Nashville Zoo hosted a vaccination event yesterday for children over the age of 12 to receive the Pfizer vaccine. So far, that is the only one approved for use for children under 16.
