• Open Table Nashville, a group dedicated to addressing Nashville’s homelessness and poverty issues, is planning a community of 20 microhomes to house the homeless on property they’re leasing from Glencliff United Methodist Church.
• Perry County Schools are closed for the week because everybody is sick.

• Our State Senate undertook some important work this week in labeling pornography a “public health crisis”, and that resolution is now headed to the desk of Governor Haslam.
• Meanwhile former Nashville mayor Bill Boner is showering the city’s shelters for women and children with stuffed bears he found deeply discounted after Valentine’s Day.
• And also meanwhile, Rep. Mark Pody pulled his bill targeting transgender students’ bathroom usage to make some amendments.
