- The Metro Police have an interesting new tactic for patrolling our streets: Soliciting the help of UPS and FedEx drivers to keep the streets safe. While we got excited when we read this headline and thought that maybe our delivery drivers might be for real patrolling, this actually just means that they’re being encouraged to report anything suspicious. - A car rolled over on I-40 in Bellevue today, injuring the people inside. The crash is being blamed on a cat inside the vehicle that escaped from its carrier and caused the driver to swerve. There were actually three cats and three people in the car. All three kitties were a-okay, but unfortunately all three humans were transported to Vanderbilt–one in very critical condition. [WKRN]
- Three guys were arrested in North Nashville last night after robbing a McDonald’s. Turns out, they’re likely connected to at least 17 fast food robberies since August. [WKRN]
- So it turns out that Table 3 restaurant in Green Hills did in fact suffer “extensive water and smoke damage” in this morning’s blaze. [WKRN]
