Good morning, Nashville. We can’t believe that it’s Monday again and we’re looking at a third straight Titans win. But do you know what else we are looking at? Oh, just this video of 86-year old Titans owner Bud Adams flipping not one, not two, but about three billion birds at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. In this world of cell phone cameras, it was on Youtube within minutes and now the league is looking into the incident with a possible fine attached.
- Oak Ridge wins again. If you asked the average person where they thought the world’s fastest supercomputer was housed, they probably wouldn’t guess Tennessee. However, Oak Ridge is now home to a computer that can apparently do 1.75 petaflops or something (whatever that means) making it the fastest in the world.
- Female DUIs on the rise. According to some national studies, the number of women charged with DUIs has increased 30% in the last ten years. WKRN talks to some Metro Police officers to get their take on the situation.
- Bits & pieces. News flash: People are not excited about paying for parking meters on Saturdays … In case you missed Jay-Z and are as sad about it as we are, here are some pictures … Nashville’s first winery opens today in Belle Meade.
