Folks who visited the Nashville Farmer’s Market on Saturday afternoon had a special surprise waiting for them: An all-out flash mob. In case you slept through the early 2000s, a flash mob is “large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.” The force behind this one was the Circle Players theater group who decided to get creative with spreading the word about their current performances of Fame, the Musical. On Saturday, several dozen dancers popped up in a flash, erupted into a lively song a dance routine, and then went about their business, leaving their accidental audience dazed, confused, and entertained. So congrats, Circle Players–you definitely got our attention! Thanks to Nate for the tip!
