We’ve always felt like Vandy’s Rites of Spring music festival is pretty hit-or-miss, but we’d say this year might just be a hit. This year, the two-day festival will feature both psychedelic legends The Flaming Lips and funk rockers (some of our hometown heroes) N.E.R.D. Dates are April 17-18 and tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster (unfortunately) on Monday. Weekend passes range from $20 for Vandy students to $45 for the general public, or a single day pass will set you back $40. [via the Tennessean]
