How could we pass up a headline like this?: “Steelers Unveil Secret Weapon: Martina McBride.” [WTVF]
We’re happy to say that all 150 people on board the plane that crashed into the Hudson River right after take-off made it out safe and sound. [Tennessean]
Probably a bad segue on our part, but Southwest is also adding some new flights out of BNA for the next few months! [WSMV]
Elton John and Billy Joel are playing the Sommet Center on May 16th and for some reason Mayor Dean felt it was necessary to hold a press conference about it? ::shrug:: [Tennessean]
The GLBT community will be coming out on Saturday to picket outside the Brentwood hotel that’s being accused of firing a man because he was gay. [Out & About]

Before they let her sing, the Steelers should re-think that “secret weapon” theory. Martina McBride sang at LP Field last Saturday and look what it did for the Titans. (Despite that, she is one of the best singers of the National Anthem ever.) Oh, and thanks for using my photo. I took one of her singing Saturday, but have been too bummed out about the game to upload my photos from it.
