You Tell Us: What Are Your Plans For Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving has crept up on us again this year, and now we’re trying to get everything done really fast before we head out of town tomorrow. What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Do you lay low and have a nice meal at home? Do you hit the road and spend time with family and friends in other states? Are you the bravest of the brave (or maybe just crazed) who face those Black Friday sales?

Over the next few days, we’ll try to bring you some ideas and aids to make your Nashville Thanksgiving a little easier this year. But for now, what are your plans and traditions for Thanksgiving?

Since my family is in PA, my plan was to sit at my house, drink beer and eat chinese food. However, some other good friends just called saying they are in town, so it looks like friends together for Thanksgiving. That being said, i'm still pushing for Chinese food.
  • Preds game tonight, watching football with family on Thurs, then more Preds hockey with family on Friday. :-)

  • My parents just moved into town a couple weeks ago while hubby's have always lived here, so we will be having turkey day at our house with all the parents and siblings and a couple friends.
  • Going down to Franklin for the Habitrot and dinner at my parents'. 2 other couples are joining us. I can't wait to cook!

Headed up to St. Louis to do the every-other-year-with-her-family gig... hitting the sales on Friday. Is it sad that I find Sears to have better sale items than any of the electronic stores? I mean, wow, a front-loading, high-efficiency washer/dryer pair for 600 bucks??
  • Drive, drive, drive.

We have family up north so we'll spend most of the holiday in the car - as usual!
