Gibson Guitar Prepares To Take Second Life By A Storm

Ever the pioneers, Nashville’s very own Gibson Guitar has bought an island in Second Life where everyone can go try out their guitars for free. Virtually, anyway. If that isn’t enough to tempt you, they’ll also be holding concerts by real celebrities like Fleetwood Mac’s Bob Welch–actually, his avatar Bob Welch Magic–who will play at the launch party on Wednesday at 8pm CST. Tempting, but we’ve misplaced our virtual lawn chairs.
