Freebies Of A Different Sort: It’s Taco Time

Most of the summer freebies so far have been sweet – floats, iced coffee, donuts, and lots of ice cream. Today at Jack In The Box, it’s Two Free Tacos Day! Just bring a gas receipt to any Jack In The Box, and they’ll take pity on you and hand out two free tacos. And unlike many of the other summer freebies, this one is actually accessible for most of us, with no time constraints and locations pretty much everywhere.

  • i tried ones years ago when they 1st came here...don't really remember how they were. westcoast people seem to like them. then again they were likely raised on them. plus most of my friends like any kind of tacos is some form. i think i will spend my gas money and go to satco, or las palmas tonight.
  • So the question is... did ANYONE dare to try Jack in the Box tacos today? I would have tried them just to see, but I don't eat meat. But I'm real curious about that American cheese.
  • I think that was a safe move, CeeElCee.
  • I bought gas before lunch today and just out of principle, I ate the receipt. Then I went to Qdoba.
  • Mmmm tacos.
  • Well, it would already be a hard sell if this was Taco Hell, but with this offer coming from a burger joint like Jack in the Box, I think it's best for my health not to follow through with this free offer. Thanks, though!
  • Um, I'm sure not going to be claiming my free tacos today. But maybe some people like that sort of thing.
  • Is that a slice of Kraft American Cheez (food product) sticking out of their "tacos?"

    Ewwww.
  • Unfortunately, flies won't light on their "tacos." That should be a clue.
