We’re counting this as one of the best freebies of the summer, because we love us some root beer floats. From 2pm-8pm today, participating A&W Restaurants are giving away free root beer floats, so you can take that $4 and drop it into your gas tank instead. There’s no catch, no medium drink or fries to purchase, just free root beer floaty goodness. We called the A&W in Cool Springs and they are indeed participating (other locations include Madison, Smyrna, White House, and Murfreesboro – you’ll have to call those on your own).
