- You might have heard that the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine has been put on “pause,” but a woman from Nashville who may be among the six confirmed adverse reaction cases is still urging folks to go get vaccinated.
- In the meantime, the mass vaccination site in Antioch has switched to the Pfizer two-dose vaccine. Recipients will need to return for their second dose in three weeks.

- Two people were killed in Lebanon Monday morning by a man that later drove to Bellevue and committed suicide. Metro schools in the area briefly “locked in” as a result.
- In a bit of a weird case, the Metro Property Assessor is at odds with the council and state legislature over moving the county line for property owner whose house sits right on top of it.
- A Murfreesboro man became the latest arrest by the FBI stemming from the January 6 insurrection at the United States Capitol.
- Joseph Sharbel, a Montgomery Bell Academy history teacher injured in a motorcycle accident last week, has died. Sharbel was 60.
- The Nashville Predators (24-19-1) routed the division-leading Tampa Bay Lightning (28-12-2) 7-2 at home Tuesday night, their 13th win in 16 games. They will play two games against the Carolina Hurricanes (27-10-4) tonight and Saturday.
- The 2021 NHL trade deadline was a relatively quiet one for the Nashville Predators, with only a deal to acquire defensemen Eric Gudbranson made before 2 p.m, dealing away an ECHL prospect and a draft pick. Gudbranson is playing for his fifth team in three years.

- A man has been arrested for allegedly driving his car over a beloved goose named ‘Barnyard’ at an Old Hickory marina, killing the bird. He’s been charged with animal cruelty.
