Photo Of The Day: April 10, 2009 [Feel Good Friday]

It’s Friday, it’s Good Friday, we’re ready for the long weekend, and we’re pretty sure we can identify with this little guy at the Nashviille Zoo. Photo by Brent & MariLynn.

Photo Of The Day will be a recurring feature for Nashvillest as long you keep giving us stuff to post. Don’t worry–we’ll give you props. Just add them to the pool or tag them with “Nashvillest” if you’re feeling lazy.

Bright & Early: You Can’t Touch This Edition

Good morning, Nashville. The deadline is quickly approaching for the TVA to claim immunity against the seven lawsuits, including four class-action suits, they’re facing for the Kingston spill. They’ve been threatening this for months, but a federal judge has finally laid down the mandate that they’ll need to file by April 17. Residents are none too happy about the whole immunity thing and have taken to blowing up the agency phonelines with complaints (which the TVA is required to save as evidence), nearly crashing the whole phone system. And also, everyone hates their new powerlines.
