Happy Holidays From The Frist Center [Freebies]

The Frist Center is offering free admission on Thursday and Friday evenings through the end of the year. From 5pm-9pm, just wander in and enjoy poking around for free! All purchases in the gift shop will be 15% off on these evenings as well. We’re suckers for free days at the Frist (as you may have noticed).

Also coming up at the Frist Center is their Holiday Concert with the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra Flute Ensemble. Sunday, December 14 at 2pm (and you guessed it, it’s free).

    You can also get free admission on the Mondays (for the rest of the year) if you bring food for second harvest. Its great, you get to see the exhibits for free and give food to those who are in need.

    Great, but if there is one thing I cannot stand it is flute ensembles. Even with bass flute, waaaay too much upper register.
