Good afternoon, Nashville. We’re running very, very late today, so here’s an abbreviated roundup of recent headlines:

  • The 2012 Bonnaroo lineup was announced this morning, happy Valentine’s Day to us all! Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, The Beach Boys, Bon Iver, The Avett Brothers, Ludacris and a reuniting Ben Folds Five are among the many, many highlights. [Bonnaroo.com]
  • Nashville cleaned up at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, with Taylor Swift, the Nashville Symphony and The Civil Wars among the locals who brought home shiny gold trophies. [WPLN]
  • Last night’s “wintry mix” (we prefer the term “snizzling”) turned to rain overnight, so yet again, no snow for Nashville yet this winter. However! If it had snowed, TDOT would have been prepared. We have four new snowplows and 51,000 tons of salt left for the rest of this winter. [Tennessean,WTVF, WKRN]
  • Speaking of weather, get your Android phones out and download Ready TN, the new emergency management and severe weather information app from TEMA. No app for the iPhone just yet, but it’s coming soon. [WTVF]
  • Opry Mills is holding a job fair today until 4pm to prep for its grand reopening on March 29. Payless, Stride Rite, Lids and Utra Diamonds are among the newest tenants to receive building permits. [WSMV, Nashville Business Journal]
  • Breaking News: No one uses mass transit in Nashville! [WTVF]
  • A sole Occupy Nashville tent moved to Public Square Park last night, but packed it in after a few hours after being reminded of a city ordinance preventing anyone from being in a public park after 11pm. [The City Paper]
  • Got $200, a few minutes and a sweetheart? The Belmont Mansion offers walk-up weddings only one day a year, and today’s the day! [WSMV]
