Happy Hour: Ducks In A Row

  • Did anyone get anything done today? Be honest. [WKRN]
  • Thanks to everyone who filled out their census forms this year! We’ve now been ranked the 25th largest city in the United States, up from our last census ranking of 27. [WKRN]
  • We forgot to mention yesterday that Nashville’s Lilith Fair date has been canceled and you can get your money back from wherever you bought your tickets. This makes us sad. [WKRN]
  • We also forgot to mention that because the Nashville Symphony’s damages estimates are more than double what they predicted, the Schermerhorn won’t be reopening until January 2011. [WSMV]
  • Last night’s big Nashville Is Rising benefit/shindig raked in more than $2 million for flood relief. A huge thanks to all the folks who worked on it, played in it, went to it, and didn’t buy scalped tickets for it. [WKRN]
  • Opry Mills, still down for the count, managed to find $60,000 to give to Habitat for Humanity to help two families who lost their homes in the flood. [WSMV]
