Tennessee police still aren’t writing too many tickets for texting while driving because they haven’t figured out how to enforce it. [Tennessean]

Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander is planning on splitting from the rest of his party and voting in favor of Sonia Sotomayor, which has caused some drama on Capitol Hill. [WTVF]

I like Lamar Alexander's reasoning for voting for Sotomayor. Basically he said he had to vote for her because she's qualified and her record indicates she can do the job. It was the same criteria he used for the last two judges and so he couldn't be a hypocrite and let politics be the deciding factor. Nice.
