Bright & Early: Needle In A Haystack Edition

Good morning, Nashville. We apologize for going MIA yesterday afternoon. The Nashvillest HQ suffered a small security breach and your editor’s 13″ black Macbook seems to have sprouted some legs and run off. So if you’re poking around the internet and happen to see one with two of these and a missing power cord, drop us an email. Speaking of jerks who steal things, several folks in Madison are noticing that their Jesus yard signs are disappearing. Most of the signs went up this past weekend after many of the area Baptist churches handed them out to their congregations.

Jerks. How dare they steal your MacBook. Don't they know you had to e-mail Steve to get that one?! Outrageous.

Isn't the HQ somewhere in Green Hills? Seems like there's been a lot of crime over that way recently.

Umm, those yard signs are disappearing from Madison COUNTY yards, not the city of Madison. That note would be better on the Tennesseeist.

In other news why does that same little piece of plastic break off the 13″ Macbook?

I know, right? Present from Uncle Steve :(

Yep, it is. They'd supposedly caught the guy responsible for the latest string of robberies, so I guess this is a different one. No other houses on our street were hit yesterday, though.

Apparently the cracks are a design flaw, so they're showing up on most Macbooks. I hear you can take it in and get the top case replaced for free, but now I'll never know! ;)

As a friend of the family I really appreciate your continued reports on Sgt. Mark Chestnut. His family needs all the prayers and positive thoughts they can get at this time.

I'm glad to do it. It's real easy to forget how much cops put on the line even during a supposedly routine traffic stop. My heart goes out to him and his family and I'm so glad he's up and about.

Stealing Notebooks is like taking someones fav 10yr old tee shirt! They are personal and beloved!

Shocking that Fox News was the one reporting Jesus yard signs being stolen. I would have never guessed.

I agree whole-heartedly! Except I guess you can't pawn off an old t-shirt for a few hundred bucks. :(

And yes, I found the Fox news bit a little ironic too. ;)
