Happy Hour: The Aftermath
- We love Bonnaroo and everything, but we’re really really glad we’re not the ones cleaning it up. [WKRN]
- Speaking of Bonnaroo, it almost sold out this year and CMA festival attendance was up 7.2%. [Tennessean]
- Weirdly enough, the Metro Planning Department is recommending that the planning commission approve the May Town Center proposal which would create a “second downtown” in the Bells Bend area. Along with the recommendation, they’ve included about 48 pages of conditions for the approval and we’re too lazy to sift through them. [In Session]
- The Nicaraguan government called, and they want Eric Volz back. Eric was locked up in a Nicaraguan prison for more than a year for murdering his girlfriend despite glaring evidence that he wasn’t even in the same city at the time. Now he having to file an emergency petition against their government. [WSMV]
- And we can’t believe we forgot to mention this story this morning, but the KKK has been tossing literature in people’s driveways in Green Hills. [WTVF]
