Nashville4Prez: Power To The People [Mixed Reviews By People Who DO Live Here]

Have you had enough of those often-absurd-and-contradictory Mixed Reviews By People Who Don’t Live Here? Now we have two opportunities to sound off on our city’s behalf (and show some other cities a bit of friendly competition).

Kiplinger is doing their 2009 Reader’s Choice Best Cities poll, and Lexington has mysteriously arrived at the top of the list with over 6,000 votes that are multiplying like rabbits. Nashville is currently in 5th place, but with a measly 192 votes, we have a long way to go before we pass Lexington, Roanoke, Louisville and Pittsburgh.

Travel & Leisure is also doing a 2009 America’s Favorite Cities poll, and we’re embarrassed to report that we were eliminated in the first round of this bracket-style competition last year. We have until July 31 to make Nashville shine, so no excuses!

Nashville, it’s time to take matters into our own hands. Vote now!
