We’re all grown up! Today marks our first birthday here at Nashvillest, and it’s been a wonderful year of bringing you freebies, photos, road closures, exclusives, polls, weird stuff, caffeine, comings & goings, Snoop Dogg, concert news, mixed reviews, gems from the Nashville Craigslist, Twestivals, blingees, TeeVee interviews, beer, burgers, CMApocalypse, the occasional sports post and all-around good times (and sleep deprivation).
We’ve logged over 1,250 posts, are closing in on almost 1,000 RSS subscribers, chat with more than 2,200 Nashvillians on Twitter, have had almost 100,000 visitors and the pageviews are climbing past 350,000 as we write! April 2009 was by far our best month, when our traffic mysteriously tripled and has been holding steady ever since. It goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway) that we couldn’t have done it without a great group of friends, readers, subscribers, Twitter followers and tipsters offering us help and encouragement at every turn along the way. Seriously, we can’t thank y’all enough! Nashvillest has turned into something much bigger than we could have ever imagined, and we’re incredibly excited for year number two. We have some big plans in store, so stay tuned!
