  • Lest we forget about the folks in Kingston and their nasty, nasty TVA ash spill back in December, more reports of health problems are rolling in by the day. Also, more than 200 residents have stepped up in the class action suit against the TVA with more on the way. [Pith In The Wind]

  • Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall is pretty excited that he was able to rid the city of 5,300 undocumented immigrants with his 287(g) program. [WSMV]

    Yeah, I couldn't even find anything about it on the Nashville Crime Stoppers website. The info finally surfaced this morning on News Channel 5, though. Glad somebody's on the ball! http://www.newschannel5.com/global/story.asp?s=

    “To text a tip, text the word CRIMES or 274637, and then type the word CASH before your message.”

    Strange that you have to start your message with “CASH”. Not sure i'll remember that 3 months from now, though i'm saving the number in my speed dial. :-/
