It’s not exactly the Frist, but this is definitely an art show you won’t want to miss. The Campus for Human Development’s Room In The Inn program and Belmont University are coming together to show the community a different side of Nashville’s homeless population by showing off some of their original artwork at Belmont’s Leu Center for the Visual Arts. Tonight’s exhibition features the work of the Campus’ Odyssey program participants who are working hard to overcome addiction, abuse, and other deep-rooted issues that contribute to chronic homelessness. The event is free (and there’s free food!) and open to the public, runs from 6:30pm-8pm, and will also feature a silent auction to benefit the Room In The Inn’s art program. And even if you can’t make it, be sure to check out the Campus’ volunteer page to find other ways you can help.
