Happy Hour: Line In The Sand

  • Back during the summer, rehab facility Teen Challenge sued Metro for unfairly rezoning the property they were on and forcing them to shut their doors. Now the two parties have reached a settlement and hopefully Metro won’t pull a stunt like that again. [City Paper]
  • A Memphis senator filed a bill today that would effectively ban gay adoptions in the State of Tennessee. [Out & About]
  • Police arrested a man who had been robbing apartments off of Edmunson Pike, which is awesome, except it still doesn’t help the folks in Salemtown. [WKRN]
  • In case you’re still sitting in traffic on I-65 with your Blackberry, a semi carrying a house overturned near Old Hickory a few hours ago. Though it should be cleared by now, it sure didn’t do anything for rush hour traffic. [WKRN]
