Hey Nashville, it’s COLD. We know this because kids even weaseled their way out of school because of the cold today. Now think about how cold it would be if you were homeless, and especially if you didn’t have a warm coat, or some gloves and a hat. The Nashville Rescue Mission is especially in need of warm blankets, coats, hats, gloves and socks this weekend as we all struggle to stay warm.
Ugly Mugs in East Nashville has set up space inside as a drop-off location. These donations will be collected and taken to the Rescue Mission both tonight and tomorrow night. Or take your donations directly to their donation center, at 616 7th Avenue South downtown (open between 7am-7pm, Monday-Saturday).
