Since the only thing that seems to have made the news today is the ice, here’s a round up:
- Coming soon to a county near you: Freezing rain! [WZTV]
- We might get ice, or we might not get ice. It may be 1 inch thick or it may be 1/10th of an inch thick. [WKRN]
- The freezing rain advisory was SO ten minutes ago. We’ve moved on to bigger and better things, like wintery weather. [WTVF]
- It’s like the perfect storm! Of ice! [Tennessean]
- “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Ice accumulations and winds will likely lead to snapped power lines and falling tree branches that add to the danger.” When this is all over and there’s a sudden bread and milk (and flashlight and bottled water) shortage, we can trace it straight back to Channel 4.
