Nashville’s Lights To Go Out For Climate Change

Ever heard of Earth Hour? Businesses, landmarks, entire cities – and even Google – will go dark for just an hour on March 28, 2009 (8:30pm), as part of a global call to action about climate change. Nashville has been designated as one of the flagship cities participating in the coming Earth Hour, and some businesses have already agreed to turn out their lights: NES, the Chamber of Commerce, The Stage and Legend’s Corner, so far. Mayor Dean hopes to get many more businesses on board before March. [Tennessean]
