• Governor Phil got to meet with President-elect Obama this morning… along with the other 49 governors. Overall, he was pretty pleased with how things went and noted that no President-elect had ever done anything like it before. [WTVF]

• In honor of the traffic always sucking in Cool Springs, TDOT will be heading out there to re-time the stop lights tomorrow. The few tweaks should make traffic flow much easier during the busy holiday season. [WKRN]

• And speaking of TDOT, they’re gearing up for the many blizzards and ice storms we’re guaranteed to get this year here in Middle Tennessee. 700 tons of road salt arrived today, which should maybe last us for the next ten years. But we are not bitter! [WTVF]
• Michael G. Tangredi and his son Michael D. Tangredi–owners of Michael T’s on Division St., Tuscan Bar & Grill on Belcourt Ave., and Tangredi’s Italian Kitchen on Elliston Place–are being charged with opening some fraudulent credit cards and not paying the $1.15M they owe on them. Yikes! [WSMV]
