This Weekend: Celebrate One Year With Whole Foods

The Green Hills Whole Foods is celebrating one year in Nashville this weekend, with lots of fun giveaways, sales, free food and events. We’ll take any excuse to wander around collecting samples. A full schedule of the foodie festivities can be found here. Nashvillest headquarters are just across the street, so we’ll stroll over at some point during the day. 

Also notable: Whole Foods and the Nashville Scene are hosting an “Iron Spork” competition at 1pm this Saturday. The chefs from from the Green Hills and Franklin stores will face off in an Iron-Chef-esque competition, but the proceeds from this one go to Second Harvest Food Bank. We can get on board with that. Tickets are $15 and you should probably purchase them in advance, as space is limited.
