- Big news this afternoon as the Western Kentucky campus and several local schools were put on lockdown after some gunmen dressed in black were reportedly running around Pierce-Ford Tower (that giant dorm on Main Campus). The lockdown was lifted a little while ago and five students were taken into custody. We’re happy to report that none of our Neighbors To The North were hurt. [CNN]

- Predictably, Nashville’s debate was the best debate. Because Nashvillians do it better. [WSMV]
- A construction worker who was working on the downtown YMCA renovations fell 40 feet to the second floor this morning. No one is sure how it happened, but he’s currently at Vandy in critical condition. [WTVF]
- Yesterday we were predicting civil war in Murfreesboro and we might not have been far off–After the Republican HQ was vandalized yesterday, the Democrats felt the wrath this morning a la a shattered window and broken blinds. [WSMV]
