He Was… Just Being Miley [Hack Attack]

Our state is well on its way to being known as the land of the dumb teenage “hacker.” First we had UT Knoxville student David Kernell, who had his 15 minutes of fame about a month ago, when he correctly guessed the answer to the security question on Sarah Palin’s email account. Now we have 19-year-old Murfreesboro resident Josh Holly to hoist proudly as our very own Miley Cyrus email hacker. We feel sort of creepy for reporting this story, since it involves pictures of a scantily-clad 15-year-old, but news is news. Earlier this year, the guy broke into Miley Cyrus’ email account and found a bunch of mildly risque photos which he then plastered all over the internet so that everyone would see how cool he was. He then spent the next few months bragging about how smart he is and how the authorities would never find him. Sucks to be you, Mr. Holly – What goes around comes around.
