Photo Of The Day: September 29, 2008

Fresh of of yesterday’s win, we’ve got Titans fever here at Nashvillest. Flickr user WJ11 took this photo at LP Field after the team’s 31-12 win against Houston.

Photo Of The Day will be a recurring feature for Nashvillest as long you keep giving us stuff to post. Don’t worry–we’ll give you props. Just add them to the pool or tag them with “Nashvillest” if you’re feeling lazy.

I was at the opening game for the Titans and also noticed that the stadium lights were on. In the middle of a bright sunny day. My question is, why in the name of sanity is LP field blatantly wasting energy by having stadium lights on in the middle of a bright sunny day? I am not a fan of football and this only makes me dislike it even more. These idiots care more about football than real world problems. Maybe someone in our sphere of influence can ask someone in the know – who is the bonehead who is leaving the stadium lights on during the middle of a bright sunny day.
